Grupo Carso is one of the largest and most important diversified conglomerates in Latin America. The Group has a significant presence in the Mexican economy, where it remains one of the market leaders thanks to an exceptional portfolio of formats, products and services.

STRATEGIC DIVISIONS


Commercial and consumption sector

Through Grupo Sanborns, the Company operates some of the most successful commercial formats in Mexico, with widely recognized trademarks.

Industrial and manufacturing sector

Grupo Condumex has a portfolio of products and services focused on the telecommunications, construction, electricity, energy, automotive and mining industries.

Infrastructure and construction sector

By means of the subsidiary Carso Infrastructure and Construction, Carso provides services to 5 sectors: the chemical and petroleum industries; the installation of pipelines; infrastructure, civil construction, and the development of housing projects.

Energy sector

Carso Energy participates in the energy and petroleum industries.

Among its goals is to take advantage of business opportunities arising from the energy reform laws in Mexico and similar opportunities in other countries.

The Carlos Slim Foundation operates 100 sustainable programs and projects in 13 different areas, among them education, health, sports, the environment, and culture, reaching millions of beneficiaries in Mexico and other Latin American countries.

In addition, Grupo Carso's companies maintained investments in education, health, infrastructure and community development through the following initiatives:
